For many children, chalk is a well-loved activity. But did you know that it can be used beyond sidewalks and driveways? Chalkboard paints allows you decorate different household items with chalk—including planter pots.

This Mother’s Day, surprise your mom with a plant that’s covered in her child’s chalk artwork. The sentiment will be sure to pull on her heartstrings!

Directions:

  1. Paint the outside of the pot with the chalkboard paint, and let dry.
  2. Have your children use the chalk to decorate the chalkboard painted pots.
  3. Place either your flower or plant in the pot.
  4. Give it to your mother!
